... Can someone tell me what is a "Peyang" supposed to be? The containers says "yakisoba", so I gathered it's instant noodles of some sort, but... what the hell is a peyang

I guess they call it Peyang for short and to differentiate it from other brands that also make instant Yakisoba. Similar to how I call all the instant ramen made by Nongshim, "Nongshim"to distinguish it from other brands.
