@kronix - Tsubasa needs to grow up, and most people tend to grow up by passing through difficult experiences. This series will have some very difficult experiences before the end. We are only about 1/3 through the story so far.

@rh75 - I skimmed through the remainder of the series some months ago. Things get very dark, though not necessarily in the same sense as things have been up to now. The girls will manage to get into their concert band competition, and as a group consisting of only girls, they will be subject to some other kinds of problems. At least that's what it looks like without my having taken the time to actually translate all of it properly. I am learning the details of the plot only days before the rest of you. By the end, however, both Yuki and Tsubasa will have grown considerably.

That said, as has been seen up to now, the story bounces between light and dark. It is never unrelieved darkness, nor pure light.
