@Tikibo reminds me of how the author of Negima originally wanted to do a manga with battle fight scenes and his editor nope'd him and told him to do rom-com like Love Hina, so he complied but eventually snuck so many battle scenes into it, it's hard to consider what genre it is anymore. XD
