Here, I don’t understand what’s happening anymore : the “bad guys” try to kill Fuyuzora (but saving the girls), just to follow what the elders said. Wasn’t faster to just tell it to the Inn and let Fuyuzora wreck the elders?

I haven't read any good impression of this arc. I think they tried to do an "akamatsu ken" style of this arc, but there is 0 sense of danger, I mean we already got a shocking arc with the "false future" arc. But this,... I don't know what they tried to accomplish.
