One thing to consider is that Yuuna was number 1 both popularity polls tho of course that only represented Japan's viewers. If he only went by their input, then the majority of Japanese readers will probably be happy with the ending.

In one way he did sorta go a similar route like Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai with the alternate girl endings, the difference being Yuragi's was incorporated into the main storyline instead of being treated as a separate ending altogether. As fans of the other girls, that may be the best we can hope for, unless he has something else planned for the final volume's chapters.

Except Yuuna herself was onboard with a harem before this chapter and he could have had a Yuuna ending that didn't result in fucking over the rest of the girls by using them as tools to get Yuuna and Kogarashi together AND he could have had them explicitly "dumped" way before this (like when it happened to Hibari in 103) instead of just in the last chapter after 200+ chapters of "we won't give up!".

I can't imagine many Yuuna fans that look at how the narrative treats the girls in this chapter (and the previous chapters in this annoying arc) to be happy with it (like Oboro's 180 on her established personality)
