@HelloHound I think it's pretty clear where it's going. While trying to "keep her enemy close" the mc is going to fall for the gyaru herself and then the popular girl can be with the childhood friend as well and the mc will be forever happy.

Anyway, thank you to the translators for picking this up! It's pretty silly, but fun.
