Yuugai Toshi

I must say, it got released in my country and I fell in love from the very first chapter! Interesting, positivly consuming and worth every second of human time. Especially at the end, personally, it made my mouth open wide with a kind of unexpected, perfect summary of the story.

Also to @Quranos - late af, but- they may be just updating it or correcting it casually, but from what I found on the internet few minutes ago, it appears that some of the lines about American comic culture were found offensive and it was obligated to be changed. So maybe that's the reason.

For anybody else who's trying to figure out if the description is actually a description or includes commentary by whoever wrote the description... it's legit.

The entire description is about the events of the manga itself. In the story, it is modern day Japan, the government's getting touchy about what stuff to censor (like the Manneken Pis), and one of the characters is trying to publish a series of his own covering some gory subject matter.

Did they remove the chapters or something cause those comments from two Years ago are a little sketch

>The year is 2019, and the Japanese government has recently increased their involvement in censorship of the mass media. The upcoming Tokyo Olympics accelerates their efforts.
Well this plot got corona'd.

looks promising, sometimes the jumps between the panels is a bit rough but I'd give the first 2 chapters an 7.5/10

Hol up, censorship of the mass media? Sounds like china to me rather than japan lmaoooo

This is interesting.. any recommendation for a random comics? I'm quite fed up with isekai and revenge story which is common nowdays

Censorship of manga about disease but they still get to post hentai? Bruh

This is a pretty good read. Really conveys some of the difficulties of producing manga today

not reading this since it reminds me of fahrenheit 451 which i hated. i know no one asked just saying that the synopsys reminds me of fahrenheit 451

English translation started 9 months ago, but there was comment from 3 years ago asking why there was no chapters.

I just chalk it up to a sense of entitlement pervasive in people too accustomed to reading manga for free: if a manga exists then its translation is also readily available and free.
