Yuukyuu no Gusha Asley no, Kenja no Susume - Vol. 2 Ch. 12

@InkyCricket
@Talith

The point of this story is him conquering all this past trauma he has been ignoring for several 1000 years
Him being able to succeed where he failed before is just another step.
Plus he's already a teacher, what purpose would it serve for him to become one all over again?

I partly agree with @PsychoJing while it will serve to have him overcome his past trauma the school will probably serve for him to meet the 6 Archmages and the Braves as well as gather information that will lead to him somehow confronting the revived Maou what with Asley what with him being the only human capable at this time of standing against the Maou

I gotta say this chap was a goddamn gem. Ashley and poochi combo works impeccably with the legal loli.

Til this chap I was thinking it was dragging a bit but heres hopin for some more good ones.

Man, for 5,000 years he goes back to school once more. Quite the irony for their civilization to still remain that primitive despite that many millennia.

Outplayed by a fool and his dog...
They're surprisingly nonchalant about that brainwashing pact.
Asley and Pochi is my favorite bro pairing, they just roll with the punches and strike back with no punches pulled at all. Those expression after Pochi said 'what way did you mean?', they know exactly what they mean.

@PsychoJing if you've seen this trope enough times it becomes
obvious schools in Mangas server only two functions a subtle nod
to Japanese readers of better days. 2.)Exposition sites

@lolmaolol Well even if it were useless information to him, he should understand, that his knowledge doesn't exist in this time. That also makes it so, that whoever learns of the magic, could claim it as their own, and/or sell it. He could use his "useless" magical knowledge as something to buy favors/information from the mage teacher who was VERY interested in it. So many ways to put this magic out into the world without it being seemingly retarded.

The banter between Asley and Pochi continues to be great. The brainwashing pact was an interesting philosophical touch on immortality. Absolutely can't mess with that.

And now we have Irene, whose banter I also like as a "modern" academic who can appreciate his excessive experience. I wonder how old she actually is?
