I miss the days of his existential questioning. As of late it just feels like a shitty generic magic academy arc. Real shame too because those first couple of chapters that really sold me on the character feel like they never happened now. Not to mention everyone in the arc is just plain unbearable.

Rina definitely grew a lot as a character and became so enjoyable to watch grow as a mage, plus she's just too darn cute.

I have a solution: kill the trio. Then she loses excellent students, and Ashley can just blame her for pushing the trio at him and leaving him no choice, but to go all out, and "accidentally" kill them. Yeah, he might get expelled, or someone might even try to arrest him. But so what. Just escape (either before, or after you kill the headmaster too).

If it was me, I would break those three at this point. If you give up, they won't. If you win, they will probably still plot against you. So forcing them to bow out is best. No need to kill them. Just make them unable to come to classes for 3 months.

@lazygeko well, I think their case is special, Irene already saw in the entrance exam that he is way more knowledgable than even her so you can't really take him as a student, more like you could see their relationship kinda like banter between friends but with magic and/or pranks

Irene doesn't give me the vibe of a bad teacher since she only acts like this with Asley, she was more proper with the other students
