@Zblurth About that slime taoshite manga. My take on it, slime have a min xp that you will always receive no matter how high your lvl. Say it is only 1 xp vs dragon 10000 xp. Mc kill countless amount of them in the span of her 300 years (probably in milllions) so of course the xp that she got would be more than dragons.
And she would be the only one that achieve max lvl by killing slime so no one else know that fact before she did it. Couple with the fact that she was immortal so no one can even copy her method.
Back to this manga, I hope that loli hag got her eternal dew. I like how Ashley keep annoyed her But rina still best girl.
I wonder who is going to be the object of Asley’s affection. That girl we haven’t seen in a while... she should be getting more screen time, no? It’s not Irene, is it? As much as I love Irene, it would be a shocking surprise.. but a welcome one.
@Koyomiya@Zblurth Yeah I read all of those. My point was immortals / long living people can have mindset that seem somewhat alien to us, and that makes it hard to deal with them. And Frieren is so long living from our (humans) perspective she might as well be immortal anyway. Though in Slime Taoshite 300-nen's case, Azusa's companions are all long living / immortals as well, so we don't really get this sort of interaction (there was that village mini-arc but that only lasted like 3 chapters).
@Kyujyu they did the math in chapter 3.
She killed ~ 2 737 500 slimes over 300 years gaining 4 xp from each because of her bonus +2 xp/kill experience buff (that she probably got in her 6th year ) garnering her 10 840 086 xp points.
By comparison Large dragons in that world give a base xp of 2500.
@Zblurth the slime farm idea might not work if the the person wanting to power level doesn’t have a bonus xp buff. If they start farming from 12 years old, they’d need to kill on average < 300 slimes per day if they wanted to reach her level before they reached 60 years old
The xp values might be reasonable considering a large, young Green Dragon from d&d gives 3900 xp and a medium, Grey Ooze gives 100 xp
@Lexical i am pretty sure D&D stop at level 20 and grey ooze are pretty dangerous (i don't know if you get xp is you are level 19 and kill a level 1 trash mob)
@Kyujyu well no because human are not the only race and dragon of demon already over a 1000 years but way under level in comparison of the MC who did only xp without trying for "only" 600 years (300y + double xp) i want to really point out she did not even try to level up
now i also want to question the pretty simple fact any player know, well a large dragon that give 2500xp, do the xp you give at death in this world do not increase as the level go up ?
no because if you beat the ultimate dragon that is level 99 and gain as much as a baby dragon level 1
Actually i am interested in the subject don't take this as a critique of the manga but just curiosity how the world work
Can anyone explain the student trio's reactions on 1st panels of page 11 and page 13? I'm curious at their ?! on 11 and asley + pochi's reactions to them as they're sniffling on 13.
@Freezee if I didn't misunderstand, the ?! Reactions are probably shock due to the makeup she doesn't usually wear.
The sniffles+reactions are because they left the classroom after acting all high and mighty... Only to realize they had to come back for the class. They were embarrassed
