Not exactly a curse but according to chapter 10 heroes are trained not to be attracted to monsters.
I can't remember which manga but another one explaining why MC's can't like monsters is because of a curse(don't remember). I must have switched the two since the setting of the hero not liking monsters is somewhat the same.
