Yuwakashi Yuusha no Fukushuutan

Some good points... No level, game screen, and "I'm OP because numbers". The character starts strong (when she understands her power at least) but not quite OP (soldiers have a kind of strength that she doesn't have. Not yet at least). Backstory kind of justifies the attempt to kill the hero. (Could benefit from minor adjustments, but the base concept is clear: heroes have random powers. If you don't get a good hero, you can just reroll. Though things might get suspicious if it happened several times in a row.)

Some bad points... art is a little weird at times, some background elements are a little rushed in.

Also, the story starts a bit too fast. Not so rushed that it spoils everything.
For now I'm in, but I hope the pace slows just a little.

(Then again, it could also go the way I've seen in a couple of other mangas, where the MC rushes to the villain (here, the king) in a few chapters, gets smacked down because of arrogance, then the story have them go on a longer quest for strength before coming back for revenge, at which time both the MC and his nemesis are more prepared so things don't resolve as fast as the first time.)

kinda good huh... compared to rampant disgusting isekai smut garbage out there.

hmmm...

@The_H_Guy I haven't really read this one yet, just flipped through a couple chapters and I'll admit I'm interested. I usually don't like these revenge stories cause the MC is overpowered and they make the whole world just way too dark where everyone not the hero is cartoonishly evil. I like how in this series the world seems to be more grey and the bad guys are actually realistic in how they are why they want to kill the hero.

I also agree with you partially on the video game stats thing. It's not a deal breaker for me but it does make it too easy for the characters and its been so overdone at this point. So its a breath of fresh air to have the her have to figure it out without a fancy screen telling her what she can do or stats.
I really think the video game stat thing needs to be updated at this point. Like have instead of a status screen, you can go to a church where they can scan your spirit or whatever and imprint your abilities on a book you can look at. Also instead of a set number stat just put up some vague scale or whatever. And of course the good old bag of holding that a magician can make instead of a game item box.

Ouch I was super happy to see teapot hero back.
Still, at least this helps maybe get it a little more attention.

@Aireael Yeah I was thinking the same thing regarding the King's plot. They typically just do it because "haha we are the bad guys." Was a decent bit more entertaining to see them actually have good reasons for their actions.

Oh, wow. An actually good revenge-porn manga. What the heck?
But, of course, it only has 4 chapters at the time of this comment. Because why would it not? :/

When I see Kemonomimi I want to touch the ears and fluffy tail. And do bestiality. Not random gore shit.

This writing seems bad from what I am seeing.
I hope I am wrong though.

Revenge plot, heroes, resistance, slave heroine, corrupted government.
Why.

I don't know why but I like eating while reading things like these for no apparent reason.
