Oh I remember this!! This actually encouraged me a few years back when I was in my last year of high school and was stressed out about college admissions. That must have been like 6 years ago.

This started out as being simply intriguing with how weird it was (and with really funny jokes), but as it went on the themes it explores are quite serious and I think well thought out. I didn't expect the story to take such a meaning and ultimately I think it was a meaningful read, although it might have concluded a bit too fast on "the true meaning" behind this story. I might think this is too harsh toward salarymen, but then again I've heard that such jobs in Asia are pretty hellish (and well, in Europe they are too for the most part).

For those who liked this, I'd recommend trying Baka ga Zenra de Yattekuru (one of my favourite mangas).
