I honestly believe that Uta grew to like him as well, she’s also being rather tsundere about it. Either during their interactions, or after Ryuu was drafted.

Wouldn’t be surprised if she keeps acting dere towards him in her current life while retaining memories of her past life. Because she, too, wants to be honest with herself. Being tsun got them nowhere.
