Do we even know if Kosaka the man that has failed at everything so far and that has yet to show any redeeming qualities has what it takes to win her over the pimp that is Nagayasu? It seems like in this flashback we will learn why she is so devoted.

At this point Nagayasu would need to be revealed as the one that killed her village and blasted her leg just for Kosaka to have a chance.
