I can 80% guarantee, that this is all a mental disorder. Cause, it doesn't make sense for a world based on an apocalypse and not even a zombie in sight (expect the main female lead).

For the footprint, I can't quiet get a theory though. But, all I can assume is that, it's related with the MC.

anyway, judging by last chapter we have a POV of two soldiers, he is not dreaming of anything. It reminds me of the first episodes of TWD, where Rick woke up from a coma. Watcher wondered if Rick really live in a zombiefied world, or he is really just stuck on his own dream. This is later debunked, when

other POV characters showed up, and Rick eventually (allegedly) died

. So yeah, I don't think this is his dream, it's real. I can 80% guarantee that.

i cant tell if MC in coma or not in this world theirs no dead body no zombie no monster no sex doll no other anime girl and no human and most of all food are safe to eat, ok i am going to say MC is dead and this his after life or something -_-

@lobsterboy Thanks for the correction. I am not really good with words
But still, there is no sign of any survivor and zombie, which is very questionable. And the point that you mentioned, about the two soldiers, it was a movie. So, there could be a chance that, he might have seen it in the past before, like in his childhood.
The footprint however, is still a mystery for my assumption. The world being abandoned with only two of them is very suspicious.

While writing/typing this, I thought of another theory that, this could possibility be an experiment with the girl and him. Like how special she is, to still have human emotions.

But, I would just end this here with stating that I was only 80% sure, so there is still a chance of this assumption being wrong.
And I am just working out too much from just 5 chapters so far. We will see, what's the case is all about in future chapters (hopefully). But I am sure it's not going to be a good reason behind all this.
