Pretty certain botanically speaking your first definitions are correct. Other criteria or terminology can develop to decide if something is a fruit/vegetable in a colloquial or nonbotanical sense, but that's generally where things get inconsistent.
I.e. people often refer to gourds...
As far as I can tell there's no mistakes in this chapter. Overall your translations are very competent.
I honestly wasn't even sure if your mistakes were Engrish; I know some native English speakers who mess up tense.
I personally might have preferred using "emoii" over "emo", just because the different connotation in english is a bit jarring even after you explain it.
