@ImSoBoss Because they want the manga to be an exact retelling of the webcomic, just with better artwork.

The funny thing is that the webcomic is just ONE's draft, so he's free to depart from it and add or change stuff as much as he sees fit.

If the webcomic was indeed the official canon then the anime would adapt it instead of the manga.
