@Kaduufrrj Komi has short chapters and a bunch of characters it can focus on, though. You have not truly suffered through a romance series until you read Nisekoi (during publication).

I kinda get why they do it but holy balls many take what feels like 50 years to get over basic stuff like: Handholding, Hugging, Kissing. Which is like... first week of a high school romance, maybe 2nd if the pair is really shy but damn.
Might just be a Japanese thing.
Might explain their abysmal birth rate and selling more adult diapers than baby ones.
