According to MangaUpdates this will finish at ch. 27. We're only a fourth of the way through ^^

Once it becomes clear, I would appreciate if someone would tell me if that tragedy tag is meant to apply to the heart-wrenching (though not precisely tragic) events at the beginning, or whether this does indeed end badly.

I've been sort of stuck not reading it, ever since the tag came up, on account of already being sufficiently attached to the characters that I would find a tragic end to be most upsetting.
