Ho~ so Johannes was in love with Ludovica, too?....... Nah, to be honest, I think it's probably that lingering affection that people feels for those friends who they loved dearly and died... But, why go by all the troubles to bring her into the family? What was he expecting? Because it was obvious that everyone who knew the former empress was bound to notice the uncanny resemble between those two...
And now what with Jeremy? What will he do from now on now that he realized Shuli's standing in the family?
@lukcluck yes, that was practically what happened in this chapter, except for the last part: that was probably something that happened in her previous life... or so I think because Nora's clothes look like those from a high rank knight, but I could be wrong
Reading this chapter was a mess, each image was a different size, pronouns were switched, letters were missing, and I don't know if it's just me but some phrases just didn't seem to read well.
This episode needed some more work to be done. The chapter after this is again well translated. I think they will reupload this later like the previous chapters. The quality could be more consistent but I am happy we are getting this translated in the first place.
Do they not have a proofreader? At this point, I am even considering becoming a proofreader because of the simplicity of the mistakes. They don't seem to have a native English speaker on their team, the sentence flow is subpar and grammar needs some work.
I really appreciate this group picking the series up when the other team dropped it or whatever, but I’m having such a hard time understanding what’s happening in the story because of so many mistranslations and grammatical errors. (
@Cyro11 on the church’s side, they were planning to use this incident in order to take over their house to increase yheir influence. On the nobles side, the ones allied with them are supporting them while the others are like a pack of hyenas swarming towards the controversy, and on the side of the Empress, she actually had no plans of cutting off Jeremy’s hand, she was just using the entire trial in order to see whether or not Shuli is worthy of being the head of the family.
Honestly the relationship between FMC and nora seems so plastic. Doesn't feel organic at all just feels something that was preordained, like "this is what's happening accept and move on".
Correct. That's another way of saying she sees things are going off track from the anticipated route. The cardinal is obviously going to refute Shuli's evidence because he needs to win the trial. Once he opens his mouth it will lead into a different matter with a different consequence because it's no longer about the crown prince's injury.
There are three different motivations going for three different goals at the same time in this trial. None of the characters are omniscient so it's happenstance that Shuli hits this weak spot while aiming for something else. It's only the reader who understands what's going on in the empress' mind at that moment.
@osqmu you can make it so all the pages are the same width by going to the settings and tweaking a few things. click the 'display advanced settings' button and then a input bar shows up where you can change the maximum container width. i have mine set to 700 pixels
