they are just old injuries that haven't fully healed yet but are healed enough to not be a problem in combat

@rkkn The problem is that the healing potions are VERY low grade and more painful than their worth. So the master has to FORCE their contracted beast to drink it. At that point it would be better to only force them to drink it when the wound is serious. Bandages should be used for minor wounds.
