@kaminomikan because she is dense as all hell and thinks he is some weaker dragon and not the legendary king dragon.

This is a girl who just had memories of being betrayed by her allies and getting tortured (possibly raped) and then murdered all slammed back into her head and is yet acting all hunky dory and cheerful. Then still wanting to serve the most likely descendendants of the same people who betrayed her and caused all that to happen.
