@ShadyLamp2k

It seems like the group (which I think was just 1 person) petered out before finishing this.

Absolutely horrendous. I loved it until they glorified a rapist. Completely disgusted me.

So what I’ve gathered So far from what I’ve read is basically this-
“Ahhh I’m a bad person and you're not even though you did some pretty bad shit!”
“No you’re not a bad person and I did that stuff because I’m toxic but I’m still gonna be redeemed somehow!”

I liked this at the beginning, but I gradually went off it. Some writers just seem to not be able to handle long stories, to keep 'em going they have to do more drama, make the characters more angsty, introduce more annoying antagonists, who have to be rehabilitated against all common sense, and on and on. That's how this was for me.

Of course, the rapist gets redemption. He's a pastor now, changed man, go and see "the father he is"
Such bullshit. Can't believe the author went there. It ruined the entire manga for me.
Other than that - there was a whole ton of unneeded drama, and for some reason hand injuries are repeated a lot, for no real good reason.

I read up to chapter 61, very painfully! It’s nothing but suffering! The emotional and psychological damage it gives is unbearable! So beware future readers!

Edit: forgot to write- it also gave me some nightmares (don’t really remember what they were), but surely THIS IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!

Thank you for translating till the end!I spent 3 hours binge reading this. I really like every part, except the john/her father arc. But regardless i love every twist and turn ❤️❤️ once again, tysm 🤗

I have mixed feelings towards this manga but potential readers should know that rape and sexual assault was mentioned in the later parts of the manga. Like everyone else here- there was much potential but I felt it was squandered. Would also have been nice seeing a chapter showing them on their future career paths, or meeting with the rest of the cast, it was slightly rushed in that sense. Also, am slightly nostalgic with this series cause I remember reading earlier volumes when I was younger, and decided to reread it on a whim.

Yeah, after reading 91.5 chapters I'm on same page with everyone else. It wasn't the themes so much as too much drama dragged out and not enough relationship development. I don't understand why so many "extra characters" and arcs are brought in while you draft away from the main characters(which have great set ups and individualities) and relationship building. 40 chapters could easily have been carved out without affecting the reader's ultimate feelings. Started as 11/10 and unfortunately is a 7/10 by the end. And sorry ((((ending not worth the time)))!!!!
