I love that this MC takes the time to listen and learn about the world around him, and then apply that knowledge to make informed decisions about his role in it. He’s not trying to avoid notice or responsibility, he’s not oblivious to his own power in relation to others, and he’s confident enough to both understand his value and engage socially with others. It’s such a refreshing change from other isekais that exist solely to have the MC be a running joke with no common sense, so confidence, no social skills, and no ambition.

now its a tradition isnt it? the first time around the author always uses the wrong terms...
you dont use pure mined coal for blacksmithing because it contains too many foreign materials wich will make your metal impure and lead to unwanted side effects the temp is just fine especialy because a proper blacksmith uses a blast furnace or similar

its quite strange the interaction and processes are more or less spot on but the terminology sucks especialy the first time around

quenching and tempering
pressure and impact
coke and coal for blacksmiths
