@MOKALI yeah, apparently KissManga have bots that steal chapters from MD, and people in KM aren’t aware of it. So basically a purge. Join the MD discord for more info, I see people talked about it there.

Yup, we're doing everything in the public channel of MangaDex Discord.
@iMaztar @beperov @MOKALI @kn1000a to cut it short, KM has bots scrapping chapters from MD but they don't control it (unless we are too obvious like putting MangaDex in the chapter title like we did last Monday).
The DB chapter (chapter 3 of this manga page) is still up on KM for instance.
In addition to abusing with ads to profit, their ads contains malware and other unhealthy ads.
They don't control their content, which in turns makes us able to warn Kissmanga users about what is Kissmanga.

More people would use this site if the comments were actually active, the only other issue i personally have apart from being to lazy to change all my chrome bookmarks from kissmanga to here was fixed thanks to the guy who makes the KissAnimeList updating it so here actually updates MAL

@Shyning Yep, learned of this whole thing lurking in discord. I have been supporting scanlators way back since the time Angry Fox Scan and others keep saying how these sites steal their stuff and cut credits. I won’t blame the people who decided they want to stay in KM (if they’re that ignorant then nothing can save them) but I do believe many people who are still there don’t know of MD yet. So this should be good exposure.

So far so good, the costs are covered.
There are other ways, other than ads, to run a website, thankfully.

I'd like to remind the ads on Kissmanga are not there to pay server costs but to make profits.
