@mousehunter since there was a fade-out and fade-in panel right where the last labyrinth should have been it seems like the author deliberately skipped the reveal for the reader. Who knows why.

They're shocked at his survival, he doesn't give them the time of day, etc. Well, that's just the reunion with Aiko, Yuuka, and some other students. (Yuuka was someone he saved back on the bridge, and she actually, after being saved, helped rally the other students so they would stop panicking. Of course, it didn't do that much, but it did help some) Dunno if she will thank him like in the novels, but hey, we'll see I guess.

Frankly I really like the novel, but that's just my taste. It got edited and partly retranslated recently so it's a more decent read than it originally was (basically was absolutely terrible).
The "original" story ended, but the author continue to write the after-story every Sunday.

As for the first reunion, it should be the next arc if I remember well. There will be 1/2 chapter of transition I guess.

Sorry for the 4 month late reply. Yeah, it didn't kill her, but it did mess her up pretty bad thinking Hajime is truly an uncute guy and all that. Basically, it was just Hajime's last act of defiance and it was supposed to show that she couldn't underestimate him in the future. A small nitpick I'm sure, but it was supposed to show that the irritating character didn't get the last hurrah, so I'm a little peeved.
