Assassin de Aru Ore no Sutetasu ga Yuusha Yori mo Akiraka ni Tsuyoi Nodaga - Vol. 2 Ch. 7 - Dungeon (2)

@criver I do see what you mean. Sadly the market is very over saturated with things like this, and I do agree with you on many of your points. Sadly, Like you, I put myself in this hell in hopes of finding that one good isekai story or finding one that truly breaks the mold.

@gaigous I would actually say that it isn't the reader who needs higher standards so much as the authors who make the series. I mean, you're not being a good author by using a cookie cutter mold of something that has been used in the same type of scenario over and over and over again. Authors need to try to challenge themselves by trying to break away from what is considered the norm, because when an author trys to reach for higher heights, then the readers who read the series will attempt to find something of equal or greater creation.

Slime dropped an interesting Loot

And the Samurai seems like he's too old to be his classmate. That said, most likely destroyed his own cursed brainwashing crystal, which is why he just regained his senses and asked where he is. Now the question is, why did he, in his cursed state, destroy them in the first place?

If that wasn't popular and the publisher was not making profit from it, it would not exist. Simple demand and supply. So the readers are actually partly to blame.

@animajunki123 That's not how the free market works, publishers have authors by the balls, supply and demand is the name of the game, If the consumer has low standards creators will output the bare minimum, if people want better quality they need to vote with their wallet, but we read for free, so there's not much we can do about it lol

@criver You replied while I was typing up the same thing XD

@ShadowBlazer Your question is answered in the novel. Look up My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's. I don't remember the specific chapter, sorry.

You know, if all these manga ( and let's be clear, it's by no means exclusive to isekai ) weren't just full of tropes and cliches, then all you salty ass motherfuckers would have nothing to complain about in each and every comment section of every chapter, and how boring would that be? So,...good for you, I guess.

this is just what i thought but maybe that samurai is actually the previous hero?

I mean it makes sense since the katana(?) that our MC got was from the previous hero.

He looks like someone who just woke up from brainwash state.

@dethduck Precisely. Us "salty ass motherfuckers" would be too busy enjoying it to be criticising it. I more than welcome original works like Oyasumin Punpun or Dungeon Meshi for example. Even stuff that I don't particularly like I can respect as long as the writing is not garbage tier and it's not literally copy-pasted.

Elf waifu as a rare drop is so lucky. But why are her clothes still there? I thought slimes has the ability to melt clothes 😂

Is that the elf that was in the early chapters that made no sense in the story. She got shot in the foot or something ? So how did she become a slime drop ??

Whos the guy chopping up the crystals ? He appeared from nowhere too ? Unless I forgot half the story already ? He just stolled into the princess room just like that ? Does he have greater luck skill too ?

@eyescream007 I know right, its mangas unspoken law that slimes dissolve womens clothing.

@BloodySorcerer He doesn't have his sword drawn when he moves the curtain. He draws it to cut the crystals after he looks at them. After cutting them there are 2 panels showing his eyes. one of the crystals he cut was controlling him.
