BEASTARS

Seems like the next chapter or the chapter after that is when the showdown happens. You just know this fight will go past a full chapter.

I admit, I expected it to be yet another furry nonsense, but somehow author created characters more human than most of heroes of various psychological manga you see.

8 freshly scanlated chapters of my favorite series? Best day ever. ♥ Thank you, Hot Chocolate Scans!

Goddamn! This is the reason why this manga is on the top ten back in Batoto.

Hmm.... I'm gonna need a little time to...

........
..........

.....digest all of that.

Damn, that those new chapters were awesome. Really gotta understand the deep philosophy within this manga.

"Award winning"
I'm glad this manga got such accolades. Even more glad that the end of one arc didn't mean the end of the series. Makes me wonder if the Beastar is gonna be Legosi's new teacher or his new enemy. Maybe both?

Such a great manga. A social play using animals to parallel the human condition. Really, really glad I picked this up. Sad I binge read it in 2 days to current though.

@MagnificentErgo in parts it does share plenty of parallels with our world, but simultaneously the author has embraced the animalistic aspects and relations in a way that takes it even further. There are of course the class and race struggles going on, coupled with a wonderful coming of age story. Yet the consumption of other sapient animals, while also an obvious metaphor, shows us the more feral aspects of their society.

hey there is something bothering me about the tl. he shouldn't be called "ex-con" when he never served time, shouldn't he? more like "hey its legosi the sex predatorial offender"

@kinosseur
Yes he was a convict, if you were paying attention to the story

He committed predatory actions by eating Louise, so he was detained, but because it was consensual and there are no formal complaints about it, he was released
