Actually, why is he SO SURPRISED that she's 25?! He finds out she's a princess and he's like, "Hm shocking indeed...." But then her age comes up and he's even more surprised? I thought whenever he called her a child it was just a term he was using to indicate she was an innocent girl, not that she was ACTUALLY A CHILD. Welp I hope this changes how he looks at her. No wonder he was like, "I'm going to marry her off to someone good" lol.

Ah, I wonder if season 2 will happen soon. With the corona thing going on, I hope so. I really love this! Thank you!

@Superkrza Well if you look at the 1st chapters, Chloe mentioned that she's been a slave in her entire life (23 years to be exact) but after that, her so-called father (the King) revealed that Chloe is his illegitimate daughter and that she married off to Gilbert. After Chloe's miserable life as a princess (2 years later), that's when Elpasa was invaded by Alexandro. So yeah she's 25 years old.

I actually get why he's so surprised about her age. She doesn't look mature for her age and her physique doesn't really look like a woman in her mid 20's. She looks more like a teenage girl.

I mean you can compare chloe and those women approaching/seducing the duke. Who would think she's the same age or maybe older than those women?
