Something is going on... The girl(Mai-chan) in chapter 2 running past the pair looks to be the same girl as the one studying together with 'elementary girl' in chapter 5, and chapter 5 girl is definitely the same girl accompanying EG to the shrine in this chapter. So those two always seem to appear as a pair.

Also, in chapter 10, we see a supervisor addressing children in the background, but EG isn't attending that group, instead she's talking to mc...
