Finally.. finally someone truly calling out the friend's wrongdoings!! And I'm so glad it's the playboy which makes me like him more :) I usually don't like playboy characters but he's so much more than that, he's a best friend everyone just needs!
I honestly usually get sick on rival characters honestly, especially if it's a best friend that's lesbian or something... I don't have anything against their sexual orientation but majority of the time they're portrayed in manga, they're so possessive and blind.. it's sickening to look at and no one calls out on the rudest shit they do... Usually why I hate HATE HATE love triangles as well... it just gets so ugly and disgusting... harems as well.. don't want to talk about it (sorry I went on a really big rant...)
Anyways but I'm so glad he exists. Hopefully he can bring a more positive influence towards her and she can truly see the wrongdoings of her actions (if she hasn't already) and as a bonus, make them a couple :3 they make a splendiddddddddd~~~ secondary couple

The author even made it a point to show that she didn't even blush when called cute by a boy. Nothing she's done shows she has an interest in boys...the opposite, in fact.
