@Kaarme I thought the same...but then I remembered some of the Asias don't seem to have a whole seat belt culture or whatever you'd call it. It was a thing back in 2014 in South Korea for a bit when two members of the Kpop group Ladies Code died in a car crash because the members weren't wearing seat belts...but it pretty much petered out again.
