Boku wa Hajikko ga Suki

The group is currently hard at work on the last two chapters of the manga. I will be uploading all the completed chapters during the week.

"If only I could have a confession like that." Huh?? Don't you already have a boyfriend Haruko? Oh, I forgot, Katou's just your private bento maker, romance has nothing to do with your relationship with him.

Haruko kissed Katou on the cheek that one time. In fact, I think she's done everything girlfriend-ish he ever asked. His main problem really is he never has the guts to go for anything.

And how many chapters ago was it that Haruko kissed Katou on the cheek (once)? All of the other pairings in this series have had far more romantic development than Haruko and Katou (actually, they really haven't had much, if any). Even the Twin Dragons relationship has had a tremendous amount of development compared to Haruko and Katou's. Katou has gone from being Haruko's private bento cook to being Haruko's private bento cook. Of course, that's the whole premise of their relationship to begin with, so it's no real surprise that Haruko doesn't show any romantic interest in Katou. Having an abundant amount of snacks, even, is more important to her than her boyfriend, as demonstrated by her choosing sempai over her boyfriend for the "Love Monopoly" game. It seems clear to me that the big reason Katou doesn't try much of anything to advance their romantic relationship is that he knows that Haruko just isn't interested in him that way. He is her boyfriend in name only. The mangaka is gonna have to be like a magician pulling a rabbit out of an empty hat to convince me that Haruko actually has romantic feelings for Katou. And with only one chapter to go, that's a pretty tall order...

The author suddenly remembered this was supposed to be a romance.

@Nobi: Spot on!

Well, I'm neither surprised nor disappointed at the ending as I had pretty much given up all hope that the mangaka could convince me in one chapter that Noda actually likes Katou as a person, and not just because he makes bentos for her. Nope, not convinced at all. If he stopped making bentos for her, would Noda drop him like an empty bento box and start searching for someone else to "marry?" Undoubtedly. And what if that paper airplane had landed on Senpai? Would she then dump Katou for him? Most likely since she already spends more time with him than her "boyfriend."

The series had potential, but it was wasted by promoting the interests, activities and romances of side-characters instead of focusing on the main couple. From start to finish there was no romantic progress between Noda and Katou.

I do not satisfied with these drama and solution at the end. but i do think there are progress between them

I think by hang out together, they gain feeling by that time can be convince though. she did show her side about romance. She kissed him before by herself. it's showing she do have feeling toward him as a guy too, just not keep it like a job for food payment.

I think these sempai arc just gain the doubt of him about do she actually love him since they staring date by a random. i just expected the end should be he believe in her or she chose him at the end after all. like when the sempai ask her out. should just let them solve it by them self together. just by that this manga is complete. can even ignore the flaw that the senpai character not make much sense. never see a sign of him even with the describe they hang out around like all the time
unfortunately the problem just solved it self. that why it didn't work at all. the sempai is not even a option after all. he don't go all the way and she never have asked by other guy.
