Buta Koushaku ni Tensei Shitakara, Kondo wa Kimi ni Suki to Iitai - Vol. 4 Ch. 22

I get what cephas is doing but i feel like he’s going the wrong way about it and it’ll end being completely hit or miss now with his approach to equalizing commoners and nobles

@phil777
sadly that's not how the world works, there is no ideal that you reach without sacrifice in the real world, someone would rather want his own realized and stand in your way.

if ur willing to sacrifice someone for the greater good, then u already fucked up

Slow: dont trust that guy.
Princess: meh
The guy: betrays the country
Princess: BuT I TrUsTeD YoU

Why the hell didn't he just knock Alicia out to begin with? Exposition! Let's have her walk super slowly and waste a crap ton of time while the MC catches up!

This is a fucked up story, to be honest. Literally the entire premise is that the bad guy, as in the piggy duke, can turn his life around if given a chance. But fuck anyone else having a similar chance. Nah, Cephas? Screw that guy.

And then the MC actually says that Cephas cursed the commoner blood? What the actual fuck was this shit? Literally no one has given a single reason here why the corrupt royalty and nobility shouldn't be abolished. It literally causes a shit ton of suffering. Let me be clear. Maybe there are some reasons. They didn't SAY ANYTHING.

@Hollow7F and @phil777 It's "sacrificing" a corrupt person whose position in life literally is only possible as a result of the exploitation of the masses. Her entire existence is built upon the suffering and exploitation of the people.

@BentusiII @Sep10trion

That's the problem with selfish (and selfless) individuals. But we're still a multitude. Sacrificing lots for a few, or one for everyone, is not an acceptable choice unless you're a megalomaniac or a hopeless romantic, respectively.

@comeonnow
Regardless of one's position, there should always be ways for that person to prove useful without killing them. We have both evil and nice nobles in fiction, after all. =/

This is also because sacrificing specific people puts a "worth" on them. If you sacrifice or kill an entire population for someone's ego, would that mean that those people had no worth? That they died and lived in vain? Can a human accept that? Likewise, even if it is undue, is it fair to say... Sacrifice one person so his wealth is dispersed to everyone? =/ Then you could also be next, that means.

@phil777 Cephas doesn't plan to kill Alicia. I think that's clear here.

You're also missing the fact that the entire reason that Cephas is rebelling is because the nobility and royalty have historically used violence and basically evil methods against the commoners. The nobility were the first to breach the use of violence. However, that has become the "normal". That has become acceptable. If a commoner uses violence to try to change the situation, a situation brought up by violence in the first place, then you have people like you saying oh, they shouldn't use violence.

Yeah, no one should use violence, but the nobility were the first ones to do it, and that's why the commoners are in such a shitty situation in the first place. That's why Cephas is willing to use violence now.

And again, there are decent responses to make to this kind of argument. The problem is that this series has said nothing.

Right, this is a rather specific situation, so I suppose in this case, we could make an exception, being a fantasy world and all.

IDK maybe the guy should kidnap Alicia unless the MC has a better plan for helping commoners

Hayss from my understanding, nobility didn't start just because they wanted to.
They became a nobility because they are part of the founder of a nation, contributed greatly to the nation or other important reason. Thats how they started but the thing is, that achievement was passed down to their descendants resulting to being born a nobility without the actual reason aside from having a lucky bloodline. Altough you can't deny the contribution their ancestor did, it was also shitty to receive special treatment just because you were born in a noble family. So yeah its unfair system but also have a reason why it happen in the first place...

What happened between page 1 and 2? The first bubble on page 2 makes very little sense, if all that happened is that he noticed he had gotten wounded somewhere.

@comeonnow the story is about turning ur life for the better, Cephas is doing the exact opposite, also hes not only sacrificing the princess, did u forget about the knight he killed like 2 chapters ago? also the sacrifice he's making wont end with the princess:
YQcPJaP.jpg

his plan endgame is the destruction of the country, he wants to destroy everything in order to equalize everyone...

now about the commoner blood bit:
adFbt15.jpg

You know why he has ''cursed the commoner blood''? coz because of him every commoner is in a shittier situation than before, he just gave all the asshole nobles the perfect excuse to freely discriminate against them, now commoners will suffer even more in order to be able to rise up by using hard work, all the assholes nobles will go ''hey we cant let this commoner hold a rank or receive recognition, what if hes a traitor like that Cephas!''

The royalty and nobles may suck, but destroying the whole country is stupid, the war will kill way more commoners than nobles or royals

the binding he cut, i could see it if they were rope, not chains. magic or not he had 0 leverage
