Chibikko Kenja, Lv. 1 Kara Isekaide Ganbarimasu! - Vol. 2 Ch. 6 - I want to protect too!!

@Wolvenworks 1) It's 2019, we don't use shitty misogynistic and homophobic terms like 'sissy' anymore. 2) I'd bet dollars to donuts you'd shit your pants if you heard gunfire directed at you, "fighter".

It seems like everybody is forgetting about the setting of this manga: she was playing a full dive VR which was realistic to the point that she didn't even realize she was no longer in a game until the end of the first chapter. This is just a guess but I think experience in that kind of game translates to real life a lot better than in any of the games we have in our world - be they VR or not.

@hidamarisou
But they are. Recently a soldier in Britain got disciplined because he TKed someone in a virtual exercise.

@Philinle
>It's the current year.
And just because you are a soyboy who soils his pants at every opportunity doesn't mean everybody else is.

Her panicking at the situation, coupled with her tiny body and unfamiliarity with the effectiveness of her power caused exhaustion when she depleted her mana pool.
I wonder what they’ll do next. She’s like a little sister or mascot to the unit, but she really wants to help, so maybe calling for a magic tutor? An apprenticeship perhaps? Given the title, I don’t foresee a time skip, so I do t think we’ll be seeing her fully grown until the end (or she uses some kind of magic).

@Sep10trion She'll level up and then be a powerhouse equal to a god.

@QeDelphyn And just because you're an internet tough guy doesn't mean everybody else is.
Getting involved in violence for someone who has no experience in it creates panic. It's specially true in today's society where even a parent disciplining their stubborn kid with the good ol' belt can now get them into jail.
"Be calm and be a hero" is just a fantasy of kids who's never even in a fight before, or a wet dream of thugs who relishes in violence.

@Rockdrop
For one I am not unreasonably afraid of words. This gives me the confidence to say that there might be a chance I am not unreasonably afraid of gunfire. But I guess we won't actually know until shit hits the fan.

@Ovdose just because it's a full dive vr game, doesn't mean it's realistic, or even all that violent. Could have been the full dive port of some mindless social media browser game, one of those where you progress by getting people on your friends list to like and share, or tap the links you posted. All we really know, is that after some time playing with her guild, she got a class change to Sage, and then got isekaied.

Except the game had no pain, you could be killed and you wouldn't feel anything. No fear of pain leads to no fear of anything.

@QeDelphyn

Look at this stain. Calling people sissies and soyboys but he's not got any real cred to his name. Internet tough guy, indeed. Come back when you've stared down the barrel of a gun held in the hand of someone with the irrational desire to kill you, then tell us how much of a badass hombre you are, kiddo.
