Honestly, I just rewatched the whole anime. And I think the I think it was the better done ending. Yeah, VIRM was rushed and should have been introduced earlier if they were going to do it, but I think the space part was ok and I love watching the civilization develop back on earth while Hiro and 002 drift.

At least they didn't have to die and reincarnate to be together in this one.
