Dungeon Meshi - Vol. 4 Ch. 24 - Red Dragon II

page 11 : in a previous chapter , dwarf girl only said adamantine could protect them from dragon 's claws and fangs , not dragon 's fire .

you can see the protection spell is working in page 9 , panel 2 , and page 16 , panel 2 .

Looks like Senshi got his priorities totally wrong , and it is proven in this chapter : If he had Mithril ore , he should have made a big axe , or at least a long katana that can be use for both slaying monsters and cutting vegetables .

A small cooking knife , that can slice through the flesh and bone of any monster , is useless if the monsters dont lay dead to be sliced by the knife , lol .

@daywithoutgames
Well in Senshi's defence, he's a cook first, monster slayer second.
So it's no surprise that most of his tools are primarily designed for cooking.
Also you don't use sword or long knife for some fine precision cutting. You use small standard sized knife to do it.

You said it yourself the knife is to slice flesh and bones of any monster. For DEAD monsters.
It's not for slaughtering alive one.

I'm getting the feeling that being asked to work for free was just the straw on the camel's back on Namari. She was probably just done with her idiot boss.

Genius clues about dragon biology. It's dragon oil!!! Wonder how will it be used if harvested from a dragon's body. Cooking oil? Industrial fuel? Plastic (ferment it in 1000 years so it'll be used as special plastic materials)?

Someone should get swallowed with the knife in hand, then cut it open from the inside!

"The common tongue doesn't even have enough insults to describe your idiocy, damn it"

You could cook a meal on that roast
