That said, I understand what he said in the carriage about why he doesn't want to do a house call - buuuut there's nothing stopping him to do it in a disguise. But he didn't really seem to want to do anything with the kids or the orphanage so what he said was probably just an excuse to justify himself. Also, remember Mamari's "explanation" about her being dirty because she comes from an orphanage? I wonder where she's been hearing that...

@mitsuki48 He looks more complex than that. Well, the characters who had more than 2 lines in the story all seem more complex than just "good" or "bad", so I think there must be something in the background This sounded plausible enough. I'm looking forward to see how I was right it will turn out.

Yes, that dude is evil as fuck. He's responsible for poisoning. Our dear ML and companion get poisoned too. The bespectacled girl kind of breaks down, and now our MC gives her the time for redemption arc, work together to take down that fat geezer and cure everyone.

There's a connection to the asshole hero, where he attacks her because of some drug.

she is a little to weak in the head, amenda that is. She has been doing this her entire life and has proof of her skills and what not. She can't deduce that something is off with the 2 they came with more so the old man when certain subjects come up. She already blamed the tea once and again it is causing problems. why not ask the old man to take a gulp. Her level of trust is retardedly high. I'm surprised she doesn't have a few kids already
