Everything Was a Mistake - Ch. 16

Of course there has to be misunderstandings lol oh well, at least we have a reason why he seems to act like a douche bag, it's working btw I'm feeling a little sympathetic towards him

Interestingly this scene came earlier in the novel. I think it might work better here, since before now we didn't get inside his head much. It made the previous atmosphere very similar of being in the room with the psycho in horror movies. Tons more tension than I would normally expect from a romance.

So this is the 2nd time (?) we see things from his perspective. Thanks to these chapters, his actions now actuallymade sense and made him become less scary.

However dude you never showed her your true feelings and thoughts, how tf can she know..

He's a big idiot who never explained shit yet expected her to understand. Exactly like she said.

I don't know why but all the characters are so fucking boring. Yes, there are a lot of misunderstandings and so many things going on but for some reason, it feels so terribly tedious as if the author sensed how boring this is so they jammed in every possible cliché and "plot twist" they can think of and that ended up making this even more boring.
I don't know why, I 've read so many stories with much less going on and I didn't mind but this is just so uninteresting

It's still his fault.Like dont get pissed when she breaks ties with u when u dont explain shit to her.Shes clueless how would she know ur mums trying to kill u. Even if u didnt want to tell her for safety he still shouldve told her because almost anyone would eventually break ties or react like her when they grew up and the person didnt change.Everything really was a mistake.

Wow you had a bad past. Boo fucking hoo. Not an excuse for being an awful existence

I think Edgar forgot the most important thing... TALKING.

Everything else, maybe not to the level it got, but fucking with everyone was well deserved.

Now I can understand why he never called her by name ... it's a spell and he never wanted to bewitch her ... now I can understand why he didn't drink the tea. He always protected her! The people who are saying that he should tell her must not have understood the story until now to say so much nonsense. He is constantly a target and she would be too. Of course, he is not the perfect enchanted prince, but he also doesn't want to hurt her.

Okay.
This gives him an excuse in this timeline but he was truly an evil arsehole in the Original.

okay, now it makes sense why he's messed up

but like is he supposed to be the ml, if there is one?
