Fukushuu wo Koinegau Saikyou Yuusha wa, Yami no Chikara de Senmetsu Musou Suru - Vol. 5 Ch. 30

@KyuMazu well, there's quite a few famous philosophers who believe that and explain why in detail. Probably the most famous would be Machiavelli, for example. I don't plan on telling you there's a definitive answer though, since it's a very debatable topic.

So the saintess is the reason the princess did all of this? But why?

@jak
I think she answered that. He was behaving as something more than a hero, “taking the place of god”. As a saintess she couldn’t let that go on, he needed to be punished.

@TimeVolt

Kinda in the end she goes to hell where she's torture by all her followers, God or anything divine made nothing to stop this

@witness_to_unfair_play

Never trust anyone, the govern, corporations or kings, they are all made of people and people are super corrupt

Ah yes usually the most corrupt one is the one who bring justice or side with god, sounds edgy and wicked huh.

I mean, if it was consensual then it'd be fine, but as we all know that is not the case in this story.
