Goblin Is Very Strong - Vol. 5 Ch. 40

It's over? Or its not? While sequel baiting readers. What an end. I wanted to see the immortals' ultimate power since she said it was just practice.

Hold it, Snake. Time to change the disc.
I know, I know... It's a pain. But you need to swap
Disc 1 for Disc 2. You see the disc labeled "2"?

No.

Huh? Oh, wait! We're on PS3™ system! It's a Blu-ray Disc.
Dual-layered, too - no need to swap.

Damn it, Otacon, get a grip!

Yeah, what an age we live in, huh, Snake?
Wonder what they'll think of next!

Thanks for finishing this series.

The explanation behind the two brothers is something i did not expect so it was good.

Thinking about it, if Aki's speed was huge before and now she has doubled her level, won't it mean that no one can catch her, save maybe Marom?

I don't think the series is over. This feels like we were just in the 1st half of the story and right now is intermission. Can't wait for the second half. Thanks for the chapter!!!

I'm not fine with how it's going on, like do we now need to mimic shitty video games industry by buying a DLC for a proper end of a story?

I hope it will be back to properly conclude all this build up plot very soon.

@Cybernatus did you never play old games like Baten kaitos? They couldn't fit everything on one disc so the game was split between two discs and once you got to a certain point you had to save and switch discs for the second part of the game.

That's the kind of thing they're mimicing rather than DLC

Haha. I'm gonna be honest, I'm fine with this being the end. I do like how there are seeds to a suposed sequel however since most mysteries have been solved, I can't help but feel the story has reached its end for now.
Thanks for translating.

Phew! It probably could have justified more fleshing out and a longer adventure, but for a quick wrap up this still works and to some extent it even fits the generally feel of the series. It was a surprisingly fun ride, way more going on then it felt like it had any right to given the setup. Maybe it gets a sequel, maybe not, but either way I enjoyed it and if the Omake is it won't feel bad about it.

Thanks so much for taking us through their adventure!

An open end, this is actually unexpected good. However, I'm still very greedy for another sequel. Will we have one? I wonder?

Being able hold your own against the extra boss while being around level 40 is quite epic.
Really like how the author did make the entire backstory of the world concise enought to be put into a few pages and still make sense.
