Hope Ienaga is really dead. He is the one I hate the most in this manga along with the Abashiri prisoners that murdered innocent people. Our main cast only kill people that involve in the gold hunt while Ienaga killed a lot of innocent people including the old couple that owned the hotel and the couple that were on a honeymoon. Can't understand why people like that cannibal murderer while hating Ogata. At last, Ienaga got the punishment he deserved after redeeming himself a bit.

Ienaga, is a really weird character. There's a part of me that kind of what's them to die just because of the absolute headache of their existence.

Nice to finally have concrete confirmation about whether Ienaga is trans or just an okama. (She's trans. Okama are gay men in dresses, think like "fulltime drag queen", and that's why it's very transphobic and offensive to equate the two or to call a trans woman an okama.)
Sadly I think this means she's gone... as it's been stated that no one is as good a surgeon as she is... and I think only she could save herself.

Then again, she was able to transition before it was really possible to through her magical Chinese "medicine" of eating beautiful people... so feed her a heart and she could be fine for all we know...
