Axed ending basically summarized everything they were planning on doing and skipped straight to the epilogue. Well, except writing their story and the twist at the end, everything went as you’d expect.

The publisher or editor probably cut down the author right before the story had the chance to turn generic isekai plot, I guess...

i'm guessing no decent way to self insert for their target demographic. it was obvious what they were trying to do when they added kinoshita, but i guess he wasn't good enough or it was too late.

fucking japan and their shitty self inserts. every damn isekai has to be riddled with slave harems for their cheat powered self insert, i guess.
