In which case, either go the Taoist route that you kinda just accept it that it's the way things are and that's perfectly fine, go the Buddhist route that life is suffering and that this is one of those forms of suffering that stems from attachment, or go the existentialist route and realize that none of it really matters because we're all cosmic dust that exists as a blip on the radar, so insignificant to the wider universe that we could be completely ignored as not even a footnote of history as the suns continue to shine, the planets continue to rotate and the universe returns to its own way.
