Internet getting worse, and worse every years.

Kinda late for me to realize i liked dat sword design...
Does have a little Taro touch with ut

@Eviltwinq Life gets worse, every year man. Well, best we can do is find the few wholesome communities and huddle up in them while everyone else destroys each other.

That was fun, though he probably didn't have to reveal his secret just to crush the vampire's hopes and flex on his final monologue. He could easily have waited for the vamp to die and then gone: "Ah, my sword absorbs curses, so let's take care of the medallion we were conveniently warned about."

The novel seems that the author doesn't know how to control the flow of the narrative and flow of time, sometimes it takes like 10 chapters to narrate the novel from "yesterday to today" with meaningless stuff only. You must skip the filling that the author does, it should be from 15% to 20% of the novel talking about barking dogs, clucking chickens, fondling pets, how the demi-human were waving their tails, eating snacks, drinking tea and ale, washing dishes.

@cor3zone yes but it worked EXACTLY the same way in the novel except instead of a male and female sibling pair it was two guys and they were childhood friends. their purpose in the novel was exactly the same and the change in the manga is completely unneeded. I just don't understand the need to change such a small detail on a character that is basically forgotten within the next 5 chapters. and believe me, he gets adventurers to train and give him some meaning in life, just not those two. he could have just as well met up with Shia on his own without ever accompanying those two, both in the novel and in the manga, because Shia is the first person he more or less takes under his wing.

but you're right, everyone is free to their opinions~

Looks like Lock's Luck looped low and he was discovered. At least it was from a foxy lady. Got a feeling he's going to be with her a long time.

@traveling_chef Well, the change happened because the creator(s) wanted to change it. Their story, so if they felt the need to change it, it's not really "unneeded". Also, just meeting Shia wouldn't work. He got the siblings because he's F-rank, and guild Nee-san didn't know his real strength. Shia was not sent from the guild, so it couldn't be her without changing her backstory, or the way the guild operates. Sending a total noob, supposedly a weakling at that, on a subjugation quest alone would be strange. But I agree, it's weird to develop characters that much, with their own story and motivations, if they really are just one-off.

wtf is wrong with this mangaka he's
