Yeah, the plot is absolutely full of holes, going from solid cheddar to swiss cheese in a single chapter.... but I still like the FL, and the interactions behind our three main characters are fun enough that I'm going to stick with this. I've shut my brain off for less. If the characters are enjoyable enough, it can make up for odd plot issues for me.

#1, you're fucking asinine. #2, that's shoujo defined. That target audience is young girls. It's different from josei. #3 Although sad, Japan is still behind in terms of female empowerment/feminism. It lags behind most developed countries, therefore, Japanese and Korean cultures are different and that reflects in their art.

Go to your manhwa and stay away from this genre. Better yet, stay away from all manga you shitstain.

@TetraSky The author probably didn't think about it lol, but one explanation could be that she only sees the name of important people (according to the otome game), that she was so distracted by the General she straight up ignored the others or that she's playing along in order to get the FL sent far away.

I really like the FL tbh, she's great. Somehow, even though I don't really care for the plot, the characters still make it interesting. I'm forever grateful to the TLs who keep updating this, thank you

This feels like a major plot hole, especially since MC kept her original name hopefully the story comes up with a more interesting reason as to why the general wanted to go back to the castle so much (and it wasn’t so that it could be revealed that he was the general >>)... Still, MC is fun and I really want to see how the romance develops between MC and ML.

They went to the capital to gather info (they think the mc is dead remember), though i will admit that it's still kinda dumb, since their goal is information, this is probably the best way to figure out the villain's goal.

She hasn't, the prince is just really infatuated with her. The only proof that she has displayed is that she can see people's names over their heads & some bullshit prophecy according to the actual game. At least that's how I understand it.
Which leads me to this question. Won't she know Anise is actually her friend via whether she can see her name or not?

@Exiaine Um, I read the light novel and it gets explained pretty soon (at least soon after this scene in the novel. I can't read the manga raws at all, lol.) It's a good question tho.

Basically Anise is now her name, but Hime only knows her by her "old" name. The sign above her head showed that she was Anise but Hime doesn't know "Anise," so she couldn't recognize her. (I think it also said that she was a powerful healer, but I don't remember clearly.)

Why was antag so chill with killing off her only connection to the original world? Why was protag allowed to make healing potions, why didn't anyone question her over-the-top effectiveness/efficiency? Why did everyone on the frontline suddenly go "oh hey this girl is real saintess pog" without questioning it like the first magician did? She even straight-up infused a fucking bed with healing magic, how does that even fly with the doctor? Why do they even need to go to the capital? Why is the antag allowed to assemble a team of healers in a country that doesn't allow healers to exist? Why did they get sent to jail but not jail? What even is the purpose of the cat that literally does nothing?
The pacing or story itself is crap. There's no way this deserves to stay at a rating above 8.0.
