Hope this story fakes it out and it turns out the guy is actually some investigator looking into Takae through her association with them.

I I get the impression the author is trying to convey him as a creep through the art style...
Now he's taking her a bit far away where she won't be able to easily get help or run away...

It's not supposed to "scream rapist" - as that would obviously have scared her off already.
It's intended to subtly hint to the reader that he may have bad intentions - which she's oblivious to, being the naive girl she is.
 
when you hear someone's the "elite" type, you better run as far as you can
can't believe the author's gonna have the girl's first date ever to be a total creepshow (hopefully not, tho)
the dad is so protective, no wonder the girl has no social skills
she's a working adult and he suggested "escorting her to the date" lmao
 
I really hope this series doesnt cake so much drama on top of the mother coming back to life and dad being a spaz that should be arrested.
 
He looks like a creep tbh and I'd never let someone I just met take me anywhere what if the date goes bad and they decide not to take you back and leave you there the best you could do is bring emergency money for a taxi but what if he takes you far away somewhere, all these flags 😢 . And since they exchanged information why didn't he tell her where they are going for the date so she could tell someone just in case she goes missing I hope she at least left his information with her parents, even if she is an adult this is her first time going out with a man. Im so scared for her, the only thing they told her to do was look good and run if you have to
