I've been calling him "Yis" and her "Mazie = MAY-ZEE" lol!!
But I feel like his name is pronounced "EE-SEH" and Maise is "MAI-SEH" // or "EESE" and "MAZE". But I'll most likely keep calling them Yis and Mazie.
reincarnated isekai MC: “I’ve been to school, worked a bad job, and dealt with difficult people! I’m a normal person! I’m so world weary! I’ve also read the book! I know everything that’s going to happen!”
also MC: *trusts villain and takes “too good to be true” deal*
You know, something I noticed a lot in otome, is how all these moments that are supposed to be sweet and romantic are actually really fucking creepy. I'm not a woman but if someone was touching me the way he was touching her, I'd start swinging.
Well, my dear 'Yse', if you were remotely honest about your intentions you wouldn't have to stir there in your petty jealousy, now would you? So be a good boy and sit.
@Bluehammer12: Honestly, this one is pretty remarkably so. Giving off stalker vibes like a searchlight. I think he's supposed to be a bit creepy (in keeping with him being probably the demon lord). I have no idea why/whether the author's in to that, but you'll notice the entire comment section is people going "OMG creepy yikes" XD
(Like it's common for some of these to romanticize possessiveness or aggression in ways that are unfortunate, but this one is something else.)
Yse is super creepy. Not only is taking liberties in touching her (like he's getting her used to the idea of him doing that), he's also giving her 'opportunities' with the training and making himself indispensable to her.
I know this is web comic, and fiction, but, this shit is going too close to manipulation in 50 Shades of Grey and various abusive molesters.
The more I read the villaness and otome web comics the more times I find these kinda possessive ML's and I'm just like these web comics are targeted towards girls right? Do you girls see this as romantic cuz I just find this a bit creepy and I'm not even a girl.
