@botodopo I imagine that it's like @Sep10trion said. In Kirby 64 if you ate two different enemies at once, you got a combined power rather than both separately. So here he ate the spiky turtle cooked with the trap plant thing, resulting in a... rather disturbing combo effect. Fuck, let's hope they can remember where he puts those things lol
